As many of you have reported, some problems have been identified with the 1.6.0 release of INSIDER. We sincerely thank you for your feedback and support.

· ID:Series amps reporting as 'Invalid Amp Model'
· ID:Series tuner seeming less stable
At this time we do not recommend its installation.
Blackstar INSIDER software harnesses even more features within its settings. Enable professional features such as setting the overdrive noise gate, audio mode and Super Wide Stereo. The Blackstar INSIDER software really is the next level on top of your ID:Core / ID:Series amp and gives these ranges so much diversity and power. However, if you want to program those switches to control a different parameter, you will need to do so through the Blackstar INSIDER software. For more information on ID:Core Footswitch settings, check out the ID:INSIDER manual and page 17 of the ID:Core manual.
If you have installed it, you can take the following action to correct the 'Invalid Amp Model' problem, but you may find that the patches stored within your amp have been reset to factory defaults. Any patches which are saved within your INSIDER library can be restored to your amplifier's memory after the procedure is complete.
1. Unplug the USB cable.
2. Power OFF the amplifier.
3. Whilst holding down the MANUAL button, power ON the amplifier. You will see the colours in the BANK LED cycle from RED to ORANGE to GREEN, then switch off.
4. Release the MANUAL button.
5. Power OFF the amplifier.
6. Whilst holding down MOD, DLY and REV buttons, power ON the amplifier. You will see the colours in the BANK LED cycle from GREEN to ORANGE to RED, then switch off.
7. Release the MOD, DLY and REV buttons.
8. The amp will power up in Demo Mode. To disable Demo Mode for your ongoing use, repeat steps 1 – 4.
